This book is a real good book if you could sit down an read it. It is about a runt pig that was going to be killed but saved by a girl named fern.She took care of him till he was about a yr old an now lives down the road from her at her uncles barn.He meats a friend name charlette which is a spider that prevents him from getting slottered on christmas by helping him become a show pig.So after a week or so he enters the fair and does not get sold and gets to stay at the barn.But when he gets back to the barn he runs into trouble charlette died but he finds out that she had three babies if you want to find out the rest.
